Gryphons are spirits with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. As lions were believed to be kings of the beasts and eagles to be kings of the birds, they quickly received a legendary status.
Gryphons have been known to guard and protect treasure and priceless possessions. Similarly, they are able to help you "find treasure" in different ways, even helping you find things within yourself that were lost such as old talents, natural powers and abilities, etc.
